As part of a consortium with Hutting Windenergie b.v. Bright Capital was choosen as preferred party. The Vader Piet wind farm comprises of 10 Vests V90 - 3 Mw turbines.
On December 19th, 2008 we financially closed the project with Nordea Danmark A/S, which was fully guaranteed by Eksport Kredit fondsen. Nordea supplied a USD 60 millon non recourse Senior Loan Facility and AIB Bank N.V. supplied a junior loan. Dexia Credit Local operated as agent, security agend and issuer. The wind farm was build during 2009 and commissioned in December 2009. Since financial close the wind farm qualifies under the IPC tax rules in Aruba and also for so called green financing in the Netherlands. Bright Capital refinanced the Nordea Bank loan in June 2010 with ABN Amro Groenbank b.v. (we refer to
press and presentations).
Midst 2009 Bright Capital Partners advised 4Rae Renewable and Alternative Energy Investments Ltd in the due diligence process in order to acquire various assets from the bankruptcy of Econcern and her subsidiaries.
Bright Capital Partner develops together with her partner Acorn Energy OOD a 6MW wind farm near Varna.
The wind farm will consist of 3 Vestas V90 2 MW turbines at a height of 105 meters.
Almost all licenses are obtained and we are working towards financial closure of the project.
With Grontmij and geothermal specialist IF and WEB we are actively involved in a number of mostly early stage geothermal project, including ultra deep drillings.
Our role is to structure and finace these activities with the aim to come to financial close (we refer to
press and presentations).
On behalf of the Zeist based renewable energy developer Investment Engineering B.V., Bright Capital Partners has arranged in December 2010 the financing of the first 7,5 MW Enercon -126 wind turbine to be build in the Netherlands (in the Wieringerwerf). The project is fully permitted. Construction shall start in summer 2011 and commissioning can be expected in February 2012.
Bright Capital Partners has structured the project (financially, fiscally and legally) and arranged debt and equity. The investment structure chosen allows for optimal usage of the available tax incentives and grants. Rabobank has lend a linear 14 year € 12 000 000 non recourse loan to the project. A number of partners working together in the Partnership “De Ambtenaar” have supplied all equity necessary to construct the project. The investment structure shall result in an attractive return to both developer and the partners.

On September 8th, 2011 WEB Aruba and Windpark Vader Piet N.V. signed a letter of intent with the purpose to study the development of a new wind farm. Since, wind measurement, a grid study, an extensive social and environmental impact assessment and a land survey were completed. At the moment the Urirama project is in its design phase.
The Aruban Parliament approved on February 6th, 2013 the proposal to construct Wind Farm Urirama, a 26,4 MW wind farm. Eight Vestas V 112 3,3 MW turbines with a tower height of 84 meters shall be realised.
Windpark Urirama N.V. and Water en Energiebedrijf have signed the power purchase agreement. Subsequently, after receipt of all licenses and arranging project financing the construction of the wind farm shall start.
Bright Capital Partners shall arrange all financing and develop the financing structure.
